Vehicles exhibited at Pugas.com are owned by Japanese local car dealers. The vehicle details and descriptions are filled out by those local dealers. An evaluation method of the vehicles shown on the site is unique to Pugas.com, called "Global Standard Vehicle Condition System." The evaluation is done automatically when sellers fill out the conditions and descriptions of the vehicle. To set the same evaluation standard, Pugas.com has its own training centre that sellers can learn how to fill out the conditions and descriptions of their vehicles before they are allowed to exhibit their vehicles. Buyers can ask questions, negotiate with, or purchase from sellers directly without a language barrier. But if buyers wish, Pugas staff will take the purchase procedures on behalf of buyers. Pugas.com aims to achieve that both buyers and sellers can get a maximum benefit using its service. Buyers can see an estimate of the vehicle to their port of destination instantly even though each vehicle is located at different part of Japan. The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ designed Lock Account System for international transactions while Pugas.com undertakes all necessities and required procedures including vehicle verification, shipment, and dispatch of documents.
